WHAT I DO
Train the Whole Human helps organisations improve decision-making and execution under pressure.
By creating and maintaining the conditions that enable people and teams to think,
decide and act with confidence.
THE
BLINDSPOT
EVERYTHING WORKS
UNTIL IT DOESN'T
Most organisations think they lack culture.
Or leadership.
Or communication.
Or execution.
They don't.
People still show up.
Plans are still in place.
Processes still exist.
Yet something begins to change.
Decisions slow down.
Priorities compete.
Initiative disappears.
Organisations don't stop functioning overnight.
They erode.
Knowing what people should do isn't the hard part.
Understanding what enables them to do it is.
THE ORIGIN
For more than thirty years I've been fascinated by one question.
What enables people to think, decide and act when certainty disappears?
The Royal Netherlands Marine Corps formed me.
They gave me a standard to uphold.
The years that followed refined me.
Specialist operations and leadership taught me that sustainable performance depends,
on capable people operating under the right conditions.
Cancer tested me.
It took me two years to recover.
Four more years to become good at my old job again.
Latin America taught me.
My family and I chose to start over.
A new country.
A new language.
A different way of life.
Looking back, every chapter pointed to the same conclusion.
Organisations organise systems.
People experience conditions.
That is where TRAIN The WHOLE HUMAN began.

THE
PROMISE
What I BRING,
When you start organising CONDITIONS and stop managing SYSTEMS?
OPERATIONAL AUTONOMY
Everythng else: leadership, communication, execution, even culture, emerge from that idea.
THAT IS WHAT I BRING.
WORKING TOGETHER
I arrive with curiosity.
Sometimes that means standing on a stage.
Sometimes sitting quietly in the back of a meeting.
Sometimes spending weeks inside an organisation.
Sometimes sharing coffee at six in the morning before a shift starts.
I believe in becoming part of the environment long enough to understand it.
Every engagement is different.
The commitment remains the same.
Because conditions take time.
